The Basics
Tucson Electric Power Rebate:
If you are interested in the payout over time option or other utility companies’ information, please contact us.
- Pays $1.75 per watt on approved systems
- They will inspect the installation within 2 weeks of completion and issue a check
- We handle all the paperwork for you
- What does $1.75 per watt mean? Systems are rated according to the Kilowatt energy they are expected to produce. There are 1,000 watts in a Kilowatt. So if you have a 5 Kilowatt system installed, TEP will issue you a check for $8,750.00

Federal Tax Credit:
- 30% of the total cost of the system.
Arizona Tax Credits:
- 25% of system cost up to $1,000 for residential
- 10% of the installed cost up to $25,000 per building and $50,000 per business per year.
Additional Incentives:
- There are special depreciation incentives, sales tax and permitting credits also available
